Product DetailsI'll admit it. Several years ago a students gave me a copy of Hush Hush, by Becca Fitzpatrick. It was about the time Twilight was the rage and hit the big screen. She said this would be the book to turn me from vampires and to fallen angels. Well, she was right. Luckily the sequel, Crescendo appeared a few weeks later. I devoured that one. In the bookstore the other day my wandering eye spied Finale, aptly named as this is the third and final book in the trilogy. Though I did not enjoy this fourth book as much as the other two, it did have some interesting plot twists in the end. Some things I really never saw coming.*** I just found out there's four books! How did I miss that? Sigh...off to the library.

There were some things that really bugged me that may have hampered my reading pleasure. The main thing was Nora, the main character, was never in school. How did no one notice that? In the first two books her mother is portrayed as someone who can be rather strict. So what happened to her in Finale? Nora was always training or meeting or fighting or disappearing with Patch during the school day. There is one mention of her grades falling, but she's a junior. You're telling me NO ONE was on to her? That's just not realistic, though I understand why the author ignored it.

Anyone who thinks the Twilight series is "to die for" will be even more engrossed in this series. It's much better written, in general, and has characters much the same. Actually, in some ways the basic plot is also the same but no one glitters or transforms into animals. Check it out!
