An Angel From Hell

I read the book An Angel From Hell by Ryan Conklin. In the book Ryan joins the US Army at the young age of twenty in 2007. Ryan is deployed to Tikrit, Iraq. Ryan was in Angel company at multiple FOB's. After he left the Army he went on to The Real World and was redeployed in 2010. Even though the book was on a serious topic it had funny moments in it and was full of action. Ryan told the story how it was supposed to be told full of grit, honor, and the effects of war on a person's sanity. I would recommend this book to a person who likes action and wants to see the war how it actually is or wants to join themselves. I would personally give this book a 9.5/10 its a fun read and will keep you reading.

  1. Sounds really interesting, does the book focus more on his life at war or at home?
