Alex Rider ,a teenage spy that works for M16, is on vacation in France with his friend Sabina and her family. This is the 4th book in the series of a total of 8. unfortunately i had to skip the 2nd and 3rd books in the series but at least this one doesn't give away any spoilers for the other 2. While on Vacation, Alex sees a familiar face, the Russian assassin Yassen Gregorovich. this man has murdered many many people, one of which includes Alex's uncle Ian Rider. which is how he became involved in M16. Alex is suspicious but decides to just enjoy his vacation. Alex goes to the house where him and his friends family are staying and sees that it has been bombed. Sabina's Father has been severely injured from the blast and is in the hospital. Alex Believes that the person who planted the bomb is Yassen. Alex goes to Yassen's yacht and finds out that he is right. he tries to explain his situation to Sabina but she doesn't believe him and that hes a spy. i only got to about page 90 so i'm interested to see what will happen to Alex and if Sabina is going to ever believe him or not. i'm also wondering how Alex was able to get on to Yassen's yacht, you would think that something like that would be a bit more hidden from the public or guarded Anyways this book has been a pleasure reading so far and i would recommend this book to everyone but especially people who are interested in action and adventure genres.

This book sounds like a good book. I like reading books that run in series. I like the fact that the book doesnt spoil anything in other books.
ReplyDeleteI know me too!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great series. I've been reading the books in order so far but I notice that this book is a little bit later in the series than where I am. But, I like the plot in this one. Do you think that if I started reading this one than I wouldn't get confused because of new characters and stuff?

not at all because it isnt late enough in the series to make too much of a difference and it has many of the same characters as the first one
DeleteThis book appears to be very interesting. I like that the antagonist has done things that are related to Alex Rider's family. I will have to start reading this series soon.
ReplyDeleteThis book looks like it's a good read! I read Point Blank in this series, and i loved it. I can't wait to read this book!
