Sweet 16 By: Kate Brian

     I just started reading the novel Sweet 16 by Kate Brian. It's finally Teagan Phillip's sixteenth birthday. She's very spoiled and lives in a huge mansion with her father and her step mother. Unfortunately, Teagan's mother died when she was younger, and she isn't too happy about her dad getting remarried. Her soon to be step-mom is as sweet as can be though.
    Once Teagan's birthday arrives, she makes her a gourmet breakfast, with food galore, along with an amazing present. But of course, Teagan doesn't appreciate any of it.
     Tegan is planning a huge sweet sixteenth birthday party. The party will be the most exclusive, over-the-top party that her town, Rosewood Prep, has ever thrown.
