Week of May 20th

Think about all the books you have read for independent reading this entire school year. Which of those books (one book or several books) do you think should be part of every teacher's classroom library?

• Name the title and the author
• Clearly and specifically explain WHY this book was so good-- make specific reference to the character(s) and the plot
• Specifically explain why every teacher should have this book available for student reading. Comment on reading level, pacing, action, genre and writing style.
