Domenica Santolina Doone,( or as she likes to be called, Dinnie) has been moving around her whole life. Dinnie, her sister and her brother are all used to staying in a school for around six months then leaving to go to another.
Her dad is a truck driver and it is very hard for him to have one steady job for a long period of time. He always says that there is better opportunities out there for him and his family to take When, in reality, he is just saying that because he doesn't like his job anymore. Dinnie's family has moved about eight times, all different states, all new schools. But, Dinnie and her siblings are all used to moving schools, so they can adapt pretty easily.
But, this time when they are about to move again, Dinnie's mom and dad decide that it would be better if she stayed with her aunt and uncle. Dinnie doesn't know why her parents are just sending her off like that. She is wondering if her parents are punishing her for something that she did. Or that her parents think that this is better for her to stay with her aunt and uncle. I will have to continue to read to find out how Dinnie enjoys her new life with her aunt and uncle.
Nice blog! I wonder if Dinnie will enjoy living with her aunt and uncle.
