I have just started reading this book today and not that far. The first couple pages are really interesting and it was really hard to put the book down. Essie's mother has given birth five times with the help of Mrs. Pelz. There is Essie, Saulie, Daniel, Miriam, and now a fifth child. Daniel and Miriam were two years apart, both born and buried on the same day of their birth. Essie's father died eight months. He did not get to see his fifth child. There is still more to come. Haven't read that much, but I have a feeling that Essie is going to have some family issues to deal with. What will happen?

Lost by Jacqueline Davies

This book seems kind of confusing. Does it begin to clear up as you continue to read?
