If I Could Fly (Week One)

         I just started the book If I Could Fly by Judith Ortiz Cofer it's very interesting. Doris has a normal life, but one morning she goes into the kitchen and finds her mother gone. Her dad won't answer any questions about what happen last night...like he's trying to avoid the subject. Doris' family has been having some problems before, but it never went this far. She didn't think it was heading in the way where her parents where going to split apart. That's all I have read so far, but I want to read more. This book has a good grasp to it.
