Gone By: Michael Grant

Last week I read the book Gone by Michael Grant.  I really enjoyed reading this book.  It is filled with action and suspense!  Once you start reading, you can't put it down!
In history class one normal morning, Sam Temple is shocked to see that his teacher disappeared out of thin air. He soon finds out that all of the teachers are gone-and even the upper class men.  Everybody under the age of 14 has seemed to diapered.  At first, Sam finds this exciting! He could finally do what he wants.  But as the weeks go on, life is becoming to get harder and harder.  Food is running out. Little children become scared and get harder to take care of. Everyone begins to panic.
In the heat of the moment, Sam realizes he could do spectacular things. He could move things will his mind!  But he's not the only one.  Other children have special powers too.  He has no idea how this happened or how to get the adults back but he is determined to find a way how and save his town from total ciaos and destruction!
This book was great. I didn't want to put it down.  There were many twists and turns that made me kept reading.  The other Michael Grant sure knows how to draw in a reader!  I would defiantly recommend this book.  It is suspenseful, full of action, and surprises you all throughout the book.
I rate this book a 9.5/10
