Ruined, By: Paula Morris

The main character in my book, Ruined, is Rebecca Brown. Rebecca is from New York and is not ready to move to New Orleans in a matter of a month. Rebecca is a very nice and indepent person.
Rebecca is a very indepent person because she doesn't let the popular girls at school bother her. Rebecca doesn't let it bother her that the girls at school thinks she invisible. "Amy and Jessica were still friendly to her, more or less, but they weren't inviting her to sit with them or inviting them to hang out after school." Rebecca worked through this and didn't make a big deal out of them not inviting her to do stuff. Rebecca went home and would hang out with Aureila because she didn't have manay friends like herself. That is why Rebecca is a indepent person.
Rebecca is a nice person because she was very nice to Auerila when she put the weird objects all over her room. Some of the objects in her room were devil masks and skulls. Aureila thought that the masks and skulls ward off evil. "Rebecca didn't want to be rude but this sounded so much like hocus-pocus" Before the quote Rebecca wanted to say "Do you really believe in that?" This shows that Rebecca wanted to keep Aureila happy by beliving that the masks and skulls ward off evil. Many people wouldn't think before they say that but Rebecca didn't want to ruin Aureila's day by telling her that the skulls and masks don't ward off evil. That is why Rebecca is a very nice person.
I am really enjoying this book so far! I would recomend this book to young adults who like mysterys. I would rate this book a 8/10.
