You Have Seven Messages by Stewart Lewis is about Luna who is trying the find the truth out about what really happened the night her mother died. Luna and her friend Oliver teamed together to find out what happened.
This book takes place in New York City. Specifically the Upper West side. The time period of this book is modern day. The setting of this book is important because in New York City every thing is close together which is important for Luna to help her find clues out about her mothers death. I feel the most important setting in this book is Luna's mother music studio. This is important because it has revealed a lot of clues about her mother."I turn my head and see something that makes my throat tighten: a cuff link on the nightstand, made to look like a sad theater mask." Luna is finding thing in her mothers studio that she's questioning.
Who's cuff links are those? Will Luna find more stuff out about that night?
Good detail, nice way to give away the whole book
ReplyDeleteNatalie-- you mention the setting of NYC is important because everything is close together and that helps Luna find clues-- but I am confused. Why? What does her Mother's studio look like? This book sounds full of suspense, and the setting seems to have an effect on that suspense-- show me more!
