So far in Saturday Night Dirt, everybody that races their cars in the local races is on their way to, or is already at the race track. "Hot laps" (warm-ups) hasn't yet started an people are getting angry. The weather is holding up for the time being, but that may change later in the book. I'm wondering what is going to happen with the weather and if there may be an accident that night. Will it storm? Will there be a "good" race?
Hey Travis! I wonder-- does it matter about the weather? If this is cars, what should they care? The drivers are enclosed, right? Also, what about the characters? I'd love to know more about who they are. Are there any rivals in the racers? What's at stake-- reputations as well as prize money? This sounds like a book you would like!
ReplyDeleteTravis, i would love to hear how the characters feel about not starting the race yet, are they angery yet too. I wonder will they still have the race if it thunders and lightings. PLease keep me updated seems like a great book so far.
